...to the website of New Millennium Publications International Pte Ltd (NMPI), a member of Bahá'í Publications International (BPI). BPI is some 200 Bahá'í publishing agencies from over 150 countries. Bahá'í publications represent an important source of knowledge and wisdom. They find their source in the the writings of Bahá'u'lláh, the prophet founder of THE BAHÁ'Í FAITH.
The stupendous expansion of human knowledge brings with it new responsibilities for education, governments and decision-makers of all levels. Bahá'í publications make important contributions to our understanding of many different branches of knowledge such as agriculture, economics, science, health, education and the arts. They examine problems such as violence and social unrest, issues of equality and prejudice, successful models of community and family life and explore the basis of human happiness. In particular, they emphasize the need for moral values in our education and public life and the responsible use of science and technology for sustainable and peaceful development.
The writings of Bahá'u'lláh (1817 - 1892), whose words have been translated into over 800 languages. Bahá'u'lláh's writings address the nobler aspects of human character and show great reverence to beauty and nature, expressing the importance of harmony, proportion and moderation in all things. They inspire a vision of a peaceful and united world and set out an agenda for the evolution of a global pattern of civilisation where the rights of all people are fully recognised and protected.
